Rewind relies on Mentors to guide clients on the path to recovery. When a client first enters the program, he is matched up with a mentor who shares a similar background or the same interests. The mentor takes the client to group meetings outside of the center. He also accompanies the client on off-site trips to places like the Perham Area Community Center and the Public Library. The mentor is a positive role model that the client can call when he is feeling like using drugs or alcohol again.
We are always looking for more Mentors. Each mentor must pass a state background check. Please contact us if you are interested in offering your time and guidance as a mentor.
